On the server, our solutions require Microsoft Windows 2000 Server or Microsoft 2003 Server with Internet Information Services installed. As for database backend: Team Manager and Action Item Manager require either Microsoft SQL Server 2000, MSDE 2000, or MS SQL Server 2005 (or Express). Softalot Simple Reservation System uses MS Access for the Standard Version, and MS SQL Server for the Enterprise Version.

For Softalot Team Manager to utilize email notifications, file uploads, file downloads, and file zipping, 3 ActiveX components need to be installed on your server. These components are provided as part of our application and are licensed from Fath Software.

Softalot Simple Reservation System and Action Item Manager 6.0 do not require any ActiveX components.

Enterprise Server License - You may install our software on one (1) server and use it as End User for an unlimited amount of time.

User Licenses -  For each named user account in the system, a User License (per seat license) is required. Single Server Licenses with unlimited User Licenses include these.

The Enterprise License also includes a Limited Development License, which permits you to modify server-side code and add your own functionality, provided that the resulting software including all changes are for your internal use as end user only, and that you keep all copyright notices intact. See the Softalot EULA for details. If you plan to add new functionality using certain included 3rd party components, development licenses from these third parties may be required.

Softalot Simple Reservation System Licensing

Softalot Simple Reservation System is licensed per server/domain and does not require additional named user licenses.

We also offer a royalty-free OEM license that allows you to bundle Softalot Simple Reservation System with your own product. Your product must offer significantly more  functionality than SRS and may not compete with SRS.
